OR logic implementation using Diodes.

A logic gate is an elementary building block of a digital circuit. Most logic gates have two inputs and one output. At any given moment, every terminal is in one of the two binary conditions low (0) or high (1), represented by different voltage levels.

A logic gate is an elementary building block of a digital circuit. Most logic gates have two inputs and one output. At any given moment, every terminal is in one of the two binary conditions low (0) or high (1), represented by different voltage levels. There are various types of logics are available like: AND logic, OR logic, etc. Here we have implemented two input one output OR logic. In this logic, the output gets high if any input is high. The give circuit is easy to understand. Two diodes are used here to implement the logic. We know that the turn conducts only when the anode is at lower voltage then cathode. Clearly if any input is high (any switch is turned on), the output goes to high and LED gets turned on.
