The objective of this kit is to develop a system with the help of which tilt angle of any vehicle can be calculated. This device can sense the tilt and convert it into voltage in x y z coordinates.

This kit discusses the use of inertial sensors in a few handheld applications, provides a brief technology overview of accelerometers and gyroscopes, and presents the advantages of using it as a standalone solution, or for supplementing multi-axis accelerometers for a more effective motion sensing solution. This kit can be used to measure vehicle acceleration and measure vibration on cars, machines, buildings, process control systems and safety installations.

The main aim of this kit is basically dependent on the coding of the micro controller ATMEGA168. It is the main controller. The accelerometer generates different sets of analog voltages on its tilting with respect to ground. This variation is monitored by the controller and the basis of the variation in voltages the controller decodes to display the tilt angle on the LCD. The decoding technique is done through the programming which is a major part of this kit.
