Four Way Hacksaw

As all the 4 wheels can be steered in this system, the result is that Inside wheel turns at a smaller radius, hence the inside wheel turns at a steeper angle then the outside wheel. The intention is to avoid the tyres to slip sideways when following the path around a curve. Thus the vehicle can be controlled more effectively especially during cornering and parking. Also, this system does not affect the overall speed of the vehicle.

The main objective of this project is to utilize the human power to produce electrical energy. The basic principle of this project is to convert Human Mechanical Energy into Electrical Energy using a DC Generator. The Input Low Speed- High Torque Human Powered Pedal Energy is transmitted as well as converted into an Output High Speed Rotary Motion of the DC Generator in order to produce Electricity. For power transmission purpose, a Chain- Sprocket assembly as well as a Belt – Pulley Drive is used to efficiently transmit power, speed and torque throughout the system.
The system consists of a Bicycle, Dynamo, Belt drive and other support accessories to demonstrate the application.

Power Generation using Railway Track
the main concept is to trap the momentum of the train using a spring suspension system which converts the kinetic energy to potential energy and stores in it and later, transferring that energy to a rack and pinion gear arrangement. The gear assembly is connected to a dc generator which produces electrical power.
Simple mechanical and electrical components are used and assembled together to produce maximum efficiency from the system by reducing power losses. Our main motive is to build a mechanism which can be attached to the brake assembly of any existing vehicle. This system consists of a rotating pulley which is placed near the wheel. When the brakes are applied, the pulley comes in contact with the rotating wheel and absorbs the kinetic energy and transmits this energy to a generator which produces electricity.
